I know y’all have been wonderin… HOW’S RICKY?? I apologize. I have not published a new post in a few days. Ricky is recovering fast and should be back to normal health soon. He is still in the hospital, but not to worry, they have done tests and Ricky is fine! All cancer is gone and we look for a full recovery soon. Look for Ricky to be on the air within weeks. Currently, we are not running any speciality programming such as Slow Jammin’ Wednesdays or The Real 8 @  8 in honor of Ricky. I am also going back to school so you will begin to receive updates less or from one of our other staff members. Feel free to email me anytime at jason@rdl101.com and I will reply when I can. Thank you for your support and continue to keep Ricky in your prayers and to blow up that shoutbox!!

I went to visit Ricky on Sunday and he was doing MUCH better! The tube is now out of his mouth and he is able to talk a lot better, walk around, and sit up. We hope to see him out of the hospital soon and back on the job! He wanted me to tell everyone that all is well! Keep him in your prayers and check back for updates. Continue to hit up the shoutbox and e-mail comments so they can be delivered to him.

Ricky has been doing much better! He’s been able to sit up and is talking. I personally talked to him on the phone today during the morning show. He did not sound too bad and we hope to see him out of the hospital next week! We’ll keep you posted as we find out more! Keep showing support and continue praying.

Ricky Hill went into colon cancer surgery at 12:42pm EST on July 23, 2008. We all patiently waited for the results and we now have gotten them!

SUCCESS!!!

The doctors have removed all the cancer off the colon and Ricky went into recovery right after the surgery. After I have a personal visitation with him, I will update everyone. Please send your letters to myself at jason@rdl101.com for me to give to him and continue to email him at ricky@rdl101.com or realdealricky@yahoo.com for him to read when he comes back on the air.
